Welcome to the Jewish Museum in Prague!

The Jewish Museum in Prague is the third oldest of its kind in the world – not a single building, but a remarkable ensemble of historic synagogues, monuments, and exhibitions located in the former Jewish Quarter, Josefov, in Prague’s Old Town.

With the Prague Jewish Town Ticket, visitors gain access to the most iconic sites of Jewish history and culture, including:

Commemorative Concert marking the International Holocaust Remembrance Day

30.01.2026
- 30.01.2026

On Wednesday, 28 January 2026, the Jewish Museum in Prague, in cooperation with the Jewish Community of Prague, held a commemorative concert marking the International Holocaust Remembrance Day and the Prevention of Crimes Against Humanity. The event was supported by the Endowment Fund for Holocaust Victims.

More than 200 visitors filled the Spanish Synagogue to capacity and heard works by Vítězslav Novák, Hans Gál and Dmitri Shostakovich performed by Trio Incendio. Among the guests were representatives of 18 foreign embassies as well as figures from public life.

Importantly, many ordinary citizens also came to honour the victims, feeling the significance of this remembrance in today’s unsettled world. Although the occasion carries a formal character, its essence lies in a shared civic gesture – a quiet yet unmistakable expression of respect, solidarity, and the conviction that history must never be forgotten.
